Release Notes is our monthly update that highlights some of the changes we're making to Ex Ordo. The release this week brings big changes all across the system. We listened to you all and happily now authors can use formatting and special characters for their content. You can also request that authors confirm or decline their attendance for easier programme planning.

Formatting for Submissions

Finally it's here! Our long awaited update that gives authors more control of the content they submit to your conference. Basic formatting (e.g. bold) has been added alongside super- and sub-scripts and characters for formulae. Now authors can fully outline the information they need in their submission. And it looks good too!

RSVP for Accepted Authors

As happy as authors are to be accepted to a conference, sometimes life can get in the way. Using our new RSVP feature, you can ask them to confirm if their submission will be present at the conference. This means less time trying to organise your attendees via email so you can concentrate on preparing for those who are attending!

Improved Word Count for Abstracts

Using multiple abstract boxes means you can now design the exact format each submission should follow, clarifying to authors how to specifically outline their aims, methods etc. With our update, all the boxes will count towards the final abstract word count, meaning a clearer structure for your authors and more effective submission collection for you.
